Wike Blasts ADC Coalition: Gang of Failed and Expired Politicians
Abuja, Nigeria;
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has unleashed a verbal missile on the anti-Tinubu coalition that recently hijacked the structure of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). In a fiery statement, Wike dismissed them as a “gang of failed and expired politicians”, insisting they have absolutely nothing new to offer Nigerians.
"It’s like watching retired actors trying to relaunch their careers on TikTok; entertaining, but no one’s buying it," Wike quipped.
Wike Called Names and Drops Bombs
One by one, Wike took aim at key coalition leaders:
Senator David Mark:
Wike mocked the former Senate President, who served for 8 years, asking what legacy he left behind. "He said Nigerians are unhappy now, but were they smiling when there was no single project in Otukpo his own town? The man was flying in with helicopters, but nothing flew into the town."
Now he wants to 'rescue Nigeria'? From what memory loss?”
Abubakar Malami: Wike described the former Attorney General’s critique as "shameful," asking what solutions he provided when he had the power.
"You were AGF for eight years, and now you’ve suddenly discovered the Constitution? Haba!"
Aminu Tambuwal: Wike questioned what the former Speaker and Governor did during his time in office to improve lives, especially when he had full control of a state for 8 years.
"You were in power twice and still left with a clean slate... of achievements."Bolaji Abdullahi: According to Wike, the former sports minister only joined the ADC because he fell out with his political godfather, Senator Bukola Saraki.

Despite his attacks, Wike admitted that the only political party capable of mounting a real challenge to President Bola Tinubu is the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) but only if they can resolve their internal chaos.
"The PDP is like a sleeping lion," he said. "It just needs to wake up before it becomes a museum exhibit
In typical Wike fashion: part bulldozer, part comedian, the FCT Minister didn't hold back.
